I AM LOUDER GIRL. I AM AN IGNITED LEADER.
May 03, 2026
“What is LOUDER GIRL?”
“Well… it’s a community of women who—
we share stories so we’re not alone…
and we find our voices because we’ve been told to be quiet…
and it’s about healing and leadership and belonging and—
did I say it’s about being the heroine of your life?”
Blank stare.
She nods politely.
Then slowly backs away.
Yeah. That was me.
Every. Single. Time.
And if you’ve ever felt that too...
You are a leader.
You just haven’t been taught to see her yet.
Let’s change that.
When Your Truth Gets Lost in Your Passion

I care so much about LOUDER GIRL that my words trip over themselves trying to explain it.
My heart knew exactly what it was.
My body felt it.
But my mouth?
Chaos.
And underneath that chaos was a harder truth:
How could I invite women to be seen…
if I was still hiding?
The Moment Everything Shifted
San Diego Writers Festival.
I’m late. Sweating.
Digging through boxes.
Where are the zip ties? The pens? Why didn’t I organize the shirts?
Then I hear it:
“What’s LOUDER GIRL?”
I pop up from under the table.
Pause.
And then—without thinking—
“I’m a LOUDER GIRL.”
She laughs.
“I see that.”
And something in me clicks.

You Are the Brand
Later, my friend Desiree says it straight:
“Michelle… you are LOUDER GIRL.”
Not the logo.
Not the words.
Not the framework.
Me.
And I resisted it.
Because I didn’t want to be:
- Too much
- Too visible
- Too “full of myself”
- The kind of leader I’ve spent my life disrupting
But here’s the truth I couldn’t outrun:
You can’t build a movement around truth
while hiding your own.
The Mirror Moment

Image: Looking in the mirror
So, I did the thing I ask women to do.
I looked in the mirror.
Not to fix.
Not to critique.
But to tell the truth.
And here’s what I found:
I was scared.
Scared to be seen.
Scared to be judged.
Scared to fully embody the very thing I teach.
But also?
Ready.
This Is My Story
I’ve been silenced.
Shamed.
Shrunk.
Dismissed.
And I decided:
No more.
I stopped policing:
- My voice
- My body
- My desires
- My truth
I stopped performing who I thought I needed to be.
And I started becoming who I already am.
What Happened When I Got LOUDER
When I stopped hiding…
Women responded.
Not to perfection.
Not to polish.
To truth.
To vulnerability.
To me.
“I feel seen and heard and not so alone.”

“Your words make a difference far and wide.”
— Betty
“We need 100,000 of you.”
— Joan
That’s when it hit me:
This isn’t about me being the leader.
This is about showing women who they already are.
So, What Is LOUDER GIRL?
Let me try again.
LOUDER GIRL is where women:
- Tell the truth (even when their voice shakes)
- Listen to their bodies (because the body tells the truth first)
- Lead from within (before leading anyone else)
- Talk about what we’ve been told to keep quiet
- Choose love, belonging, and power—on our own terms
It’s not just a community.
It’s a reclamation.
The Story I’m Living Now
Here’s what I know to be true:
- I am brave
- I am authentic
- I am love and loved
- I am the heroine of my story
- My voice matters
- My truth matters
And so does yours.
Are You Ready to Be a LOUDER GIRL?
Stop Hiding. Start Leading.
If you’ve been:
- Explaining instead of embodying
- Shrinking instead of showing up
- Talking about your truth instead of living it
Then this is your moment.
Not to prepare.
Not to perfect.
To be seen.
