Self-truth isn’t personal work—it’s leadership work. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Hello, Analisa!

In Part 1 of our self-truth series, we named the beginning of IGNITED LEADERSHIP—the moment you stop lying to yourself, stop performing leadership, and start leading from alignment instead of approval. It was about taking the mask off. About starting to tell the truth you may have been avoiding and reclaiming your voice and your power.

This work matters. It’s essential.
And it’s only the first ignition.

In Part 2, we go deeper.

Because self-truth doesn’t just change how you see yourself, it changes how you hold power, how you move through conflict, and how you lead others without abandoning yourself.

This next layer isn’t about looking good as a leader.
It’s about becoming steady, ethical, and liberated in how you lead.

In this week’s blog, I share a deeply personal moment that showed me what IGNITED LEADERSHIP looks like in real life. It’s not polished, not performative, but embodied and unapologetically true. We move beyond awareness into integration. Beyond insight into lived practice.

If Part 1 was about taking the mask off,
Part 2 is about learning how to live without it.

Let’s go there—together.

Stay LOUD.
Stay true.
Stay ignited.

BECOMING A LOUDER GIRL: Ignited Leadership: Igniting the Leader Within (Part 2 of 2)

You drive four miles to your parents’ house with homemade chicken enchilada soup and a full heart.

Four miles isn’t far.
But the journey here took decades.

By four years old, you were already the caretaker—first for your mother and sister, then your brother.

Your childhood was collateral damage to chaos.

For most of your life, the resentment burned hot.

But time has shifted things.

LOUDER GIRL TIP

Here are some tips to ground yourself to do the work (30 to 60 seconds)

  • Feet on the Floor: Feel your bare feet flat on the floor (can be done with socks or shoes), notice the texture of the floor, your weight as you shift slowly as you shift side to side.
  • Chair Support: Feel your sitz bones on the seat and your spine along the back of the chair, allowing it to fully support you.
  • Orienting: Slowly look around your space, let your eyes land on something that calms you like a color, a tree, or a photo.

LOUDER GIRL PROMPT

3 Louder Girl-Approved Ways to Do Self-Truth Work

1. Come Back to the Body (Before the Story)

Why: Self-truth lives in the body before it becomes language.

Somatic Practice (2–3 minutes)

  1. Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly.
  2. Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale through your mouth like you’re fogging a mirror.
  3. Notice where your body feels tight, heavy, or calm—no fixing.

Journal Prompt
“Right now, my body is telling me…”

LOUDER GIRL Affirmation
My body is a trustworthy source of truth.

2. Name the Truth Without Action
Why:
Truth doesn’t require immediate decisions.

Somatic Practice

  1. Sit with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Press them gently into the ground for 10 seconds.
  3. Release. Repeat three times.

Journal Prompt
“One truth I’ve been avoiding—but don’t need to act on yet—is…”

LOUDER GIRL Affirmation
I am allowed to know the truth without rushing to fix it.

3. Anchor Internal Authority

Why: IGNITED LEADERSHIP requires self-trust over approval.

Somatic Practice

  1. Stand or sit tall.
  2. Feel the weight of your body supported by the ground or chair.
  3. Place a hand on your lower belly and breathe there for 5 breaths.

Journal Prompt
“If I trusted myself completely, I would…”

LOUDER GIRL Affirmation
I trust my inner authority. I lead from within.
